Moving Around Town
Tips & Recommendations
Please check with your nearest embassy / consulate to determine whether you need a visa before landing, or on arrival. The cost of a single entry visa on arrival is 40 JOD (65 USD). There are cash machines (supplying JOD) and a money exchange desk next to the immigration area.
An airport taxi into town costs between JOD 20 to JOD 30 into Amman.
Uber and Careem cost JOD 15-20 and are subject to availability and time of flight. You can only catch these vehicles from DEPARTURES which means you have to take the elevator up from Arrivals.
There is bus every 30 minutes, which costs less than JOD 5. Make sure you get dropped off at 7th Circle.
